Reimagining Learning: Transforming schools
This webinar explores how we can close the gap between education policy and education practice to make schools dynamic, engaging, playful and creative centres of deep learning. More specifically, the discussion will be about how we can transform schooling through deeply embedding the 4C's (creativity, critical reflection, collaboration and communication) in the teaching and organisations of schools.
Dr Michael Anderson is Professor of Education at the University of Sydney, Australia. He has taught, researched and published in education and transformation for over 20 years including 13 books and 55 book chapters and journal articles. Michael is co-founder and academic leader of 4C Transformative Learning and presents internationally to schools and other groups on transformation, creativity and learning. His international research and practice focus on how the 4Cs can be integrated using coherent frameworks to make learning meet the needs of 21st Century learners.
Jamie Gerlach has been engaged in innovative education for the past 5 years. He has mentored and collaborated with teachers, students and school leaders in primary and secondary schools across all sectors in the development of 4C Learning.
