Programmes and projects
From putting quality early childhood education on the global agenda to making playful learning a reality for millions of children, our programmes and projects aim to make children’s lives better by making sure that the fundamental value of play is understood, embraced and acted upon.
The LEGO Foundation is committed to promote learning through play for children affected by crisis to address a pressing challenge of our time and change the way the world thinks about play and learning through play and its importance for young children in crisis settings.
The LEGO Foundation’s Centre for Creativity, Play, and Learning is tasked with understanding and communicating the role of play in supporting a more creative and resilient society. To do this, we focus our efforts on three primary areas: the impact of learning through play on children's development and lifelong learning, translating evidence on learning through play into practice and transforming evidence into experiences.
No organization alone can tackle the challenge of bringing more Learning through Play to the children around the world. That is why we connected the PlayFutures community, a global network of researchers and practitioners from around the world. Together we co-create new ideas and solutions and work towards the goal of bringing more Learning through Play to the world.
LEGO® Idea Studio
