Policy Research Specialist

Education and Learning

Based in the Centre for Creativity, Play and Learning within the LEGO Foundation, the Policy Research Manager, Education and Learning, will commission research projects that support the role of play in education, and ensure that the research and analysis of international policy and educational systems are disseminated for communication purposes and advocacy.

Providing policy and evidence across the Foundation’s programmes, the role supports learning outcomes in education by managing policy research projects, producing briefing papers, position statements as well as implementing across all stages of programme cycles across the Foundation’s programmes.  The post holder will also contribute to the initiative design of international projects, write-up reports and key policy recommendations and advises for international audiences.

We are looking for candidates with experience of policy related research in an international, multi-nation context.

With your curious nature, you are able to quickly adapt and learn new things, also to familiarize yourself with research methods and insights. In addition, you:

  • Will have a post graduate degree in a relevant subject, solid understanding of quantitative or mixed research methods.
  • Background in social sciences, teacher education or international education frameworks.
  • An excellent communicator, you have strong interpersonal skills and a highly sophisticated approach to applying research to support advocacy.
  • Finally, you share our belief in play and its benefits for children’s development.
