The project aims to address the high levels of toxic stress among the children through playful learning activities. The objectives of the project are to:
- Reduce the impact of toxic stress through psychosocial programmes that target refugee children in Jordan by enhancing the resilience and well-being of children and their caretakers.
- Enhance children’s ability to learn through play to become, confident, creative and well-functioning life-long learners.
The partnership also includes a donation LEGO® bricks and LEGO® DUPLO® bricks to equip the Save the Children’s early childhood care and development centres and child friendly spaces with playful learning materials. The child friendly spaces provide an area where children can participate in a range of age-appropriate games and learning activities.
