An amazing and life-changing journey for three academically talented young girls from the township of Atteridgeville near Pretoria in South Africa. Karabo, Lebogang Dlamini, and Khomotso joined forces and became the Crazy Divas. With support from the LEGO Foundation, the three girls participated in the World Robot Olympiad (WRO) in Malaysia in 2012.

Disaster risk reduction project

That's the philosophy behind the LEGO Risk Mapping Pilot Project - a playful tool for children to recognise and prevent various risks through play. The LEGO Foundation supported a Save the Children Denmark project in India in 2012, reaching five communities in Delhi and in West Bengal.
