Policy Research Specialist
Education and Learning
Based in the Centre for Creativity, Play and Learning within the LEGO Foundation in Denmark, the Policy Research Specialist – Education and Learning will provide high quality research and policy support to advocacy and influencing in all stages of programme cycle across the Foundation’s work. Providing policy and research across the Foundation’s programmes, the role supports learning outcomes in education by ensuring high-level policy research, producing briefing papers, position statements as well as external representation. The post holder will also contribute to designing and delivering innovative, high/quality research, policy advice, and public affairs work, engaging with key stakeholders globally.
We are looking for candidates with significant experience of policy related research, including in an international, multi-nation contexts. You will have a post graduate degree in a relevant subject, training in quantitative or mixed research methods, and a background in social sciences, teacher education or international education frameworks. An excellent communicator, you have strong interpersonal skills and a highly sophisticated approach to applying research to support advocacy. Finally, you share our belief in play and its benefits for children’s development.
